Happily Ever After

Dear Readers,

I have a lot to catch you all up on. Sigyn and I had a beautiful wedding in the mountains. Fafnir was kind enough to host it at his majestic cave overlooking the waterfall (which was also the only way he could come - it's kind of hard to find a venue that can accommodate a dragon). Freya was our officiant, and almost all of our friends came - Odin, Thor, almost all of the Valkyries, Baldr, Freyr, Sigyn's family - even Brian came up from Midgard to attend. I asked Odin if Hela could come, but he said that her banishment to Midgard had not yet been lifted. I really wish my Bro Michael and my Tiny Cotton could have been there too - I have so many treasured memories with them. Brian said there was no way they would survive the trip across the rainbow bridge though. He told me that they miss me a lot but that he was taking really good care of them. Brian also updated me on all the goings on for the whole crew. His spy network remains very active. They were able to eradicate the nefarious cat threat in Arizona. They relocated to a beautiful home Brian found for them in Colorado due to some concerning squirrel activity. I told him to be careful. Very few beings are able to mess with squirrels and live to tell the tale, but if anyone can do it, Brian can. I asked him if he'd seen Hela on Midgard, but he said he hasn't come across her. He promised to keep an eye out for her and help guide her on her journey if he sees her. It was really great to get to catch up with him and to get to spend time with so many other wonderful friends.

After the wedding, Sigyn got pregnant a little bit sooner than we expected. We were thrilled to welcome into Asgard three adorable little pups. We named them Bro, Tiny, and Unicorn after my three favorite Midgardians. They're all a little bit of a handful right now - Bro's constantly looking for entertainment and can't quite tell the difference between a rug and a chew toy, I swear Unicorn can somehow fly, and Tiny just sits and waves constantly for some reason. I'm sure she'll grow out of it though...hopefully. I love them all so much and we're very fortunate that all of our Asgardian friends are more than happy to babysit when we need a little bit of a break. The three of them are just so darn cute, after all! Who could resist those little faces?

The five of us have settled into a cozy mountain chateau where the three pups have plenty of room to play to their to their little hearts' content while Sigyn and I cuddle by the fireplace. Before my banishment from Asgard, and for a few years after, I never could have dreamed that I would become the defender of worlds, that I would have so many kind and supportive friends, that a lady like Sigyn would want anything to do with me (let alone marry me), or that I would have the honor of fathering the three most adorable puppies in the whole galaxy. I am so thankful to my little one's namesakes for helping me learn to be nice for a change. My heart is full of joy, contenment, and love. I only wish my Bro and my Tiny could be here to meet my beautiful little family, hang out with my many amazing friends, and experience my perfect happily ever after.

A Legendary Bachelor Party

Upon hearing the exciting news about Sigyn and my engagement, my good friend Fafnir the dwarf insisted on taking me out for a night of bachelor party fun. As everyone knows, dwarves and dogs both love to dig, so we started out the night with some good ol' fashioned digging. We dug and dug and dug to our hearts content until we suddenly discovered an underground cave full of treasure! There was so much there that Fafnir said he didn't see the harm in taking some. I said I didn't think that was a very good idea - I saw Pirates of the Caribbean when I was living on Midgard and was pretty sure nothing good can come from taking gold of unknown origin. However, Fafnir (who has not seen Pirates of the Caribbean) insisted that everything would be fine and slipped a few gold coins and some precious gemstones into his pocket. We then headed off on our merry way to get a few drinks at the local pub.  We drank the night away as I shared the full story of my time on Midgard with my Cott...

A Fishing Trip

After I returned from my mountain getaway, I realized that I hadn't spent any time with Baldr since coming back to Asgard. I reached out to him, and he told me that he'd been planning a special fishing trip and would love some company. I happily agreed, assuming that we would travel to a typical Midgardian fishing spot, enjoy some snacks, and chat about the good old days. Much to my surprise, Baldr, the god of light and purity himself, had something else in mind.   The morning of our departure, he told me to meet him at the rainbow bridge, which immediately piqued my curiosity. Before I could blink, he whisked us off to Victoria Falls to fish OFF the Rainbow Bridge!  I've traversed the Rainbow Bridge many a time, but Baldr NEVER lets anyone use the bridge for anything other than serious and official Asgardian business. Getting to fish off of and play on the bridge was a whole new experience. I was delighted by this new mischievous side of Baldr! Not to be outdone, of...
