All in a Day's Work


It's been a little while since I shared my day to day superhero exploits, so I wanted to give you all an update on this week's happenings....while I was keeping an eye on my bro Michael and the tiny Michelle I visited a place I think they call "The Grain Can Run." I've personally never heard of grain running, but, in my line of work, I see a lot of strange things on a daily basis. One time, I even saw a blanket try to attack the tiny Michelle. Fortunately I was able to intervene and, let me tell you, that blanket had a few holes to remind it not to mess with my people - but I digress.

Anyway, when I heard they were headed to this Grain Can Run I knew there might be trouble, and, boy, was I right.

From the minute I got out of the truck (again, car travel totally beats flying when you're traversing long distances), I knew something was up. As I approached the edge of this Grain Run, I saw some strange white powder on the ground, and was even attacked by an ice monster. Still, I didn't want to blow my cover, so I continued to cautiously proceed to the edge of the Grain Run.

Then, suddenly, I saw a wind monster about to attack, so I lept into action.

I jumped into my bro Michael's arms and used my telekinetic powers to draw tiny Michelle in close. I then concentrated harder than I have ever concentrated before and created a force field around us to protect us from the wind monster. 

Once I did that, the wind monster knew I meant business - he'd heard what had happened to the thunder monster I bested a few weeks earlier, and was not interested in meeting a similar fate. So, he fled the scene and my bro Michael and my tiny Michelle were safe. I still kept an eye on them to make sure that the wind and ice monsters hadn't tracked them back to our hideout, but saw no further signs of trouble. 

After all that effort I was pretty exhausted, so I used my multitasking talents to lie on the tiny human's feet and get some shuteye, and I am happy to report that we are all safe and sound.

      You're pretty tough, Ty ty - I'm sure you would do just fine, but it is always a good idea to steer clear of danger when you can! Unfortunately my humans are always plunging head first into danger, so I have no choice but to follow them so I can save their behinds.

Happily Ever After

Dear Readers, I have a lot to catch you all up on. Sigyn and I had a beautiful wedding in the mountains. Fafnir was kind enough to host it at his majestic cave overlooking the waterfall (which was also the only way he could come - it's kind of hard to find a venue that can accommodate a dragon). Freya was our officiant, and almost all of our friends came - Odin, Thor, almost all of the Valkyries, Baldr, Freyr, Sigyn's family - even Brian came up from Midgard to attend. A Legendary Bachelor Party

Upon hearing the exciting news about Sigyn and my engagement, my good friend Fafnir the dwarf insisted on taking me out for a night of bachelor party fun. As everyone knows, dwarves and dogs both love to dig, so we started out the night with some good ol' fashioned digging. We dug and dug and dug to our hearts content until we suddenly discovered an underground cave full of treasure! There was so much there that Fafnir said he didn't see the harm in taking some. I said I didn't think that was a very good idea - I saw Pirates of the Caribbean when I was living on Midgard and was pretty sure nothing good can come from taking gold of unknown origin. However, Fafnir (who has not seen Pirates of the Caribbean) insisted that everything would be fine and slipped a few gold coins and some precious gemstones into his pocket. A Fishing Trip

After I returned from my mountain getaway, I realized that I hadn't spent any time with Baldr since coming back to Asgard. I reached out to him, and he told me that he'd been planning a special fishing trip and would love some company. I happily agreed, assuming that we would travel to a typical Midgardian fishing spot, enjoy some snacks, and chat about the good old days. Much to my surprise, Baldr, the god of light and purity himself, had something else in mind.   The morning of our departure, he told me to meet him at the rainbow bridge, which immediately piqued my curiosity. Before I could blink, he whisked us off to Victoria Falls to fish OFF the Rainbow Bridge!  I've traversed the Rainbow Bridge many a time, but Baldr NEVER lets anyone use the bridge for anything other than serious and official Asgardian business.
