Every once in a while, a new little critter will show up in my neck of the woods. As a superhero, one of the most important things you can do is be a good neighbor and introduce yourself.
This has a few purposes. First, getting to know your neighbors can help you find everyday situations where you can be a hero, even if you don't have superpowers. This is from the time when I first met my good friend Kitty - all she needed was some love and a place to live, so I gave her a hug and now she lives in my house!
Second, this can also be a great way to recruit others to joint your spy network. I met Sapphire by being friendly to her - she's on vacation right now, but prior to that she spent several months keeping an eye on tiny Michelle for me when I was off taking care of other superhero matters.
Bottom line: Being kind always pays off when you're trying to be a superhero.
