People think that being a superhero is all about destroying thunder monsters, shooting lasers out of your eyes, and using mind control. Those things are certainly a part of it, but there are a lot of mundane, everyday things you need to be good at in order to succeed.
One tedious skill that every aspiring superhero should cultivate is mastering the stakeout. The key to a good stakeout is finding a comfortable position where you can settle in for hours to watch your target while ensuring that no one can sneak up on you from behind. You can find opportunities to practice this skill every day. Here is a picture of me practicing my stakeout skills around the house:
All superheros also need to understand how to use a computer. I can't even begin to tell you the countless hours I spend e-mailing with sources and managing the surveillance system that Brian has installed for me to ensure that I'm able to keep my bro and my tiny safe. It's thankless, time consuming work, but I'm happy to do it to ensure I have all of the information I need to defend the world.

Wowwww, this super hero thing is a lot of work Cuz!
